A pioneer in autonomous transportation, 2getthere develops safe and reliable driverless mobility solutions. Together with VDL ETS, it helps bring autonomous transport systems into real-world operation for public transport and airports.

VDL ETS contributes to the European H2Haul programme, developing and validating hydrogen-powered trucks for heavy-duty transport. The project showcases hydrogen as a sustainable alternative to diesel and advances zero-emission logistics.

VDL ETS contributed to the development of hydrogen-powered trucks for Toyota’s European logistics operations. The project demonstrates how fuel cell technology can support the transition to zero-emission freight transport in real-world applications.

Within the DITM programme, VDL ETS develops autonomous vehicle technologies for next-generation public transport. The project connects vehicles, infrastructure and traffic systems to advance autonomous mobility.

Comprehensive testing from cell level to a complete 800-volt battery pack enabled InMotion to validate battery performance, safety and reliability, supporting the development of next-generation high-performance battery technology.

VDL ETS transformed the iconic Sinterklaas Express in Helmond into a fully electric vehicle. By integrating an electric drivetrain and battery technology, the project demonstrates how existing vehicles can be sustainably modernised while preserving their original character.

To support the development of its hybrid mobile crane, Spierings Mobile Cranes worked with VDL ETS to evaluate and enhance its functional safety assessment process. The project helped strengthen safety procedures and support the reliable deployment of innovative vehicle technology.

E-Lions partnered with VDL ETS to develop hydrogen-electric vehicles based on the Volkswagen Crafter platform. From technical validation to prototype development, the collaboration helped accelerate the realization of practical zero-emission transport solutions.

Solar Team Eindhoven developed Stella Juva, a solar-powered ambulance designed for healthcare in remote areas. Through extensive suspension testing and validation, VDL ETS helped ensure the vehicle’s reliability, safety, and durability under real-world conditions.
