Corrosion & Chemical resistance testing

Our corrosion and chemical resistance testing facilities ensure that materials and components can withstand harsh environments and aggressive substances. These tests are essential for validating durability, safety, and compliance in demanding applications.

Capabilities

Internal exhaust corrosion testing

  • Simulates real exhaust system conditions with thermal cycles
  • Up to 12 independent units tested simultaneously
  • Adjustable heating, dripping, cooling, and filling times
  • Dual-fluid testing with automated switching
  • Temperature control up to 400°C

Chemical Resistance Testing

  • Exposure to automotive chemicals (battery acid, brake fluid, special fuels)
  • Especially for solder connections, laser prints, and labels
  • Storage at specified temperature up to 300°C

Humidity & Condensation Tests

  • Controlled climate chambers with adjustable temperature and humidity

Applications
Automotive & Mobility

  • Exhaust systems, EGR coolers, fuel and cooling components

High-Tech & Electronics

  • Corrosion protection for housings and connectors

Energy & Hydrogen Systems

  • H₂ storage and distribution components

Industrial & Chemical Equipment

  • Pumps, valves, and seals exposed to aggressive media
