From ambition to innovation

E-lions, an innovative start-up, aimed to transform the Volkswagen Amarok and Crafter into hydrogen-electric vehicles (FCEVs): the E-lions Rock and E-lions Creator. The ambitious project initially involved several major engineering companies, including Porsche. However, changing priorities within the automotive industry and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic required E-lions to find new partners to move the project forward.

Through Toyota, E-lions came into contact with VDL ETS. Recognized for its extensive technical expertise and engineering experience, VDL ETS became a key partner in supporting the further development of the vehicles.

Ready for the future
