Hydrogen is expected to play an important role in Europe's transition towards a climate-neutral energy and mobility system. Realising this transition requires strong collaboration between industry, technology providers, research organisations and end users. Within the STASHH partnership, organisations across Europe work together to accelerate the deployment of practical hydrogen applications and strengthen the hydrogen value chain.
Driving hydrogen adoption
While hydrogen technologies continue to mature, large-scale adoption depends on proven business cases, reliable infrastructure and successful implementation in real-world environments. STASHH focuses on sharing knowledge, identifying best practices and supporting the deployment of hydrogen solutions in sectors where decarbonisation remains challenging.
The partnership creates a platform where stakeholders can exchange experience and accelerate the market uptake of hydrogen technologies across Europe.
VDL contributes its expertise in sustainable mobility, system integration and energy solutions. By combining practical engineering experience with advanced development and validation capabilities, VDL supports the deployment of hydrogen-powered applications that meet the requirements of demanding operational environments.
Through collaboration with industrial and institutional partners, VDL helps bridge the gap between innovation and large-scale implementation.
Building a hydrogen ecosystem
STASHH brings together partners from across the hydrogen value chain, creating valuable opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and technology development. By sharing lessons learned from operational projects and real-world deployments, the partnership contributes to faster market adoption and a more resilient hydrogen ecosystem.
The insights generated within STASHH help organisations make informed investment decisions while supporting Europe's ambitions for a sustainable energy future.
